Terry Fox – A Canadian Hero

Since my novel Grounded is about how life can throw us a curve ball and in so doing change our life path in short notice, I  think it only fitting to include Terry Fox, one of my heroes, in this blog.

Since Terry ran his Marathon of Hope thirty-five years ago, not only has his original goal been reached but far exceeded.

A farmer in New Brunswick had a unique way of remembering Terry. Check out New Brunswick crop maze honours Terry Fox.

Thousands of people will be out in force on September 20th, keeping Terry’s dream alive. Canadians, let’s all do our part.
