Signing Event September 26, 2015

I will be doing a signing of my novel Grounded Sept 26th from 11-3 at the Chapters Stone Road Mall in Guelph, Ontario. (It is Teacher Appreciation Weekend so teachers bring your ID cards).

My latest work, Grounded, is suitable for teaching in all school settings including Adult Education. Seniors would also enjoy reading this novel as it takes place in an era they will remember.

The activity book has activities for those students needing a challenge as well as for the reluctant learner. Teachers will appreciate that the author has given permission for many activity pages to be photocopied.

Looking forward to meeting you on the 26th.

Terry Fox – A Canadian Hero

Since my novel Grounded is about how life can throw us a curve ball and in so doing change our life path in short notice, I  think it only fitting to include Terry Fox, one of my heroes, in this blog.

Since Terry ran his Marathon of Hope thirty-five years ago, not only has his original goal been reached but far exceeded.

A farmer in New Brunswick had a unique way of remembering Terry. Check out New Brunswick crop maze honours Terry Fox.

Thousands of people will be out in force on September 20th, keeping Terry’s dream alive. Canadians, let’s all do our part.
