Dr. Salk on the List of Heroes

In 1968, Dr. Jonas Salk along with Winston Churchill, Mahatma Ghandi, Albert Sweitzer, and the Roosevelts, was named one of The Twelve Heroes of Our Time by the Overseas Press Club of America.
